Arkansas Emergency Medical Foundation Supports Arkansas Law Enforcement Assistance Program with $4,000 Donation.

Little Rock, Arkansas - August 27, 2024 – The Arkansas Emergency Medical Foundation (AEMF) announced today that four recipients have been awarded one-time scholarships for post-secondary education. Each recipient received $500 to be utilized for pursuing higher education, whether in a technical or college setting.

Recipients are:

  • Coneah Brown: attending the University of Central Arkansas, pursuing a Bachelor of Art in Interior Design.
  • Larkin Tuggle: attending the University of Arkansas at Pulaski Tech, pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Public Health.
  • Sydney Bain: attending the University of Arkansas, pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Engineering and a Bachelor of Art in Biology.
  • John Woodward: attending the University of Arkansas Grantham, pursuing a Bachelor of Business Administration with a concentration in Operations Management.

MEMS employees, their immediate family, and dependents were eligible applicants for this scholarship. A third-party panel selected recipients based on various criteria such as financial need, prior educational achievements, and community involvement.
